Kevin has over 30 years investment and leadership experience gained with global investment management firms in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and the US.
He has an MA (Honours) in English from Aberdeen University and an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
He co-founded Midmar Capital LLP in 2010 initially as a stand-alone hedge fund manager running an award winning pan-European long short equity strategy. He subsequently bought out the other founding partners and pivoted the business to become one of the UK’s leading regulatory incubators with an emphasis on start-up investment firms focused on technology, sustainability and positive social impact.
During this time, Midmar Capital has supported the launch of over 50 institutional investment funds which have invested in over 1,000 start-up firms.
